Make room for a breath
Settle into a comfortable position and breathe gently. Choose 1, 3 or 5 minutes, and stop whenever you feel uncomfortable.
How to use this tool
Find a comfortable position. Let your breath stay gentle; there is no need to breathe deeply or force a rhythm. Choose 1, 3 or 5 minutes. A three-second preparation countdown comes first.
Natural: follow your own breathing, without a fixed rhythm. Even rhythm: inhale and exhale for the same length of time. Longer exhale: exhale two seconds longer than you inhale. Box breathing: inhale, pause, exhale and pause for equal lengths; choose this only if the pauses feel comfortable.
For paced patterns, choose an inhale length of 3, 4 or 5 seconds. Start with a comfortable setting and return to natural breathing whenever you prefer.
Pause or stop at any time. If you feel dizzy, breathless or uncomfortable, stop and return to your normal breathing. Do not force a breath hold.
The timer pauses when this page goes into the background. Preparation and pauses do not count as practice time. Reaching your selected time marks the timer session complete automatically; it does not measure your actual breathing. Ending early keeps a summary of the time you spent on this page.
How to use this tool
Follow a visible breathing guide with 1, 3 or 5 minute presets, pause when needed and choose an optional end sound.
Choose a rhythm and duration, then start after the preparation countdown. Follow the expanding and contracting guide gently. You can pause or finish early.
The timer works without personal details. Automatic completion records the selected practice time; it does not detect whether you actually followed the breathing pattern.
