What does this stop reveal?
Death explores ending and renewal through the rider, white horse and dark banner. Read it as an invitation to examine present choices, relationships and actions, not as a fixed prediction. Release an arrangement that has ended and make room for what follows. Reversal can highlight resistance to endings or delayed release, or a process turning inward; the question, position and neighboring cards matter.
End a form without erasing its value
The rider continues while the figures on the ground respond differently. An ending can hold relief and loss together. Leaving a role, relationship or habit does not prove it never mattered. Distinguish what cannot continue from the experience, support or insight that can remain in another form. This scene is a metaphor for change, not a prediction of death or disaster.
Arriving here
The Hanged Man pauses an old approach; Death recognises that some arrangements have reached their limit. An ending can require an explicit action rather than another delay.
Moving onward
List what needs to stop, what is worth keeping and what deserves a goodbye. End one specific obligation. Temperance then experiments with how to live among the resources that remain.
