TAROVERIE / COLORS
Tarot colors
Color is one part of a card’s visual language. Find the color first, then read the object, gesture and surrounding scene.
These nine entries compare colors in the Rider–Waite–Smith deck. Associations vary by deck, tradition and printing; a color alone is not a prediction.
White
The Fool’s white flower and Death’s white horse differ sharply in size and placement. The same colour enters different image relations; it is not a universal purity, luck, or death omen.
Meaning
First identify the object bearing white and the colours beside it. A small flower is held in a hand; a horse carries a rider forward. Object, action, and scale distinguish these scenes better than an abstract colour keyword.
