Scales and Distributed Pentacles Give Giving Two Actions

The Six of Pentacles places measuring and distributing in one figure’s hands. The image can show help while asking where standards come from: recipients do not occupy the giver’s position.

One hand measures while the other distributes pentacles. In the Six of Pentacles, giving is not simply a flow; it includes deciding the amount.

Mira Vale notices the figures’ heights and postures. Different positions make the exchange asymmetrical, and goodwill does not erase that difference.

Scales suggest fairness without explaining the particular measure to the viewer. Measurement in an image needs to be distinguished from standards in reality.

Recipients are not merely passive background either. If their needs and wishes do not enter discussion, distribution may reflect only the giver’s understanding.

Write an explainable standard for the scales and a question a recipient could ask. The shape of help can be clear and should also be open to discussion.
