Choices Fill the Clouds, but There Is No Path to Walk

The Seven of Cups fills a cloudy space with possibilities: imagination is abundant, but conditions for action have yet to appear. Many possibilities are visible and enticing; verifiable paths still need to be found elsewhere.

Seven cups contain different images, presenting the figure with possibilities appearing all at once. The Seven of Cups’ abundance is first a visual abundance, not seven roads already open.

Mira Vale attends to the relationship between cups and clouds. Objects with clear boundaries occupy an unstable space, so temptation appears together with uncertainty.

Different images offer different attractions and cannot be ranked simply as beautiful or frightening. The viewer’s own desires also determine what stands out most.

Moving each cup to the ground would require adding scale, distance and a way to approach it. This imaginative change reveals precisely the conditions the image has not supplied.

Choose the cup that attracts you most and write down three things still needing verification. Keep imagination without allowing it to replace a real-world path.
